Using this site means accepting these terms. They are short on purpose.
Who runs this site
MRVN OS is an independent project operated by Robin Poropat in the United Kingdom. Questions about the site: info@mrvnos.com.
The project is in development
MRVN OS does not exist as a finished product yet. What this site describes is what is being built, not what you can use today.
Interface images are concept visuals. They illustrate intent and are not screenshots of working software. Features, capabilities, naming, platform support, pricing and timing can all change, and some of what is described may never ship. Any dates mentioned are targets, not commitments.
Nothing here is an offer, a guarantee or a contract to deliver anything.
The tester pool
The application form records an expression of interest. That is all it does.
- Applying does not mean you have been selected, and no place is guaranteed to anyone.
- You must be 18 or over to apply.
- Applying earlier may mean being considered earlier. It does not entitle you to a place.
- Selection is a judgement, made by a person, based on what the programme needs at the time.
- If you are selected, taking part may require agreeing to a separate agreement covering confidentiality, feedback and acceptable use. You are free to decline it.
- You can leave the tester pool whenever you like. How to do that is in the Privacy Policy.
Using the site sensibly
Please do not attempt to break into, disrupt or overload the site, submit other people's details or deliberately false applications, scrape it automatically, or use it for anything unlawful. The application form is rate-limited; submitting repeatedly will simply stop working for a while.
Content and ownership
The MRVN OS name, wordmark, logos, site design, copy and concept visuals belong to Robin Poropat. You are welcome to read, link to and quote the site with attribution. Reproducing it wholesale, or presenting it as your own, is not permitted.
Third-party names and marks that appear on the site remain the property of their owners.
Independent project
MRVN OS takes its name and tone from an affectionate interest in the Titanfall series. It is an independent personal project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts or any related company. All associated trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Links to other sites
Links to other places — social profiles, code hosting, video — are provided for convenience. Those sites are not under this project's control, and their content and privacy practices are their own.
Availability
This site is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, incomplete or changed at any time, and the tester application form may be closed without notice. There is no promise of uptime.
Liability
The site is informational. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from using it or relying on it, including loss of profit, data or opportunity, or for indirect loss.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the project develops. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EU as a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory rules in your own country.
